The difference between bonding techniques
Interactive Flat Panels generally have two screens, the upper touch screen, the lower display; and the way to stick the upper and lower screens together is the bonding method. There are three types of bonding methods: :Optical bonding, Zero bonding and Air bonding.
Which screen bonding technology is good?
We can harshly compare the three bonding methods.
Cost: Optical bonding > Zero bonding > Air bonding;Experience: Optical bonding > Zero bonding > Air bonding
1.Air bonding
Process: Use double-sided tape to stick the touch screen and LCD screen on all four sides, the middle of the two screens is empty, there is air.
Pros: Simple process, mainly paste a circle of glue, not easy to paste bad, so the assembly cost is low. The two screens are separated, one bad does not affect the other, so the maintenance cost is also low.
Cons: There is air in between the two screens, so it is easy to reflect and may get into dust. Since the two screens are separated, the light from the display will be filtered one way, and the visual effect is poor.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheap option, you can choose a flat panel with this bonding process!
2. Zero bonding
Process: Use glue to stick the touch pad and LCD screen on all sides, the middle of the two screens is transparent medium, not air.
Pros: Reflections are dramatically reduced, better display, thin body, no dust.
3. Optical bonding
Process: Use water glue or transparent optical glue to stick the touch screen and display together completely, just like a screen.
Pros: Reflections are greatly reduced, the display is bright and effective, the body is thin, does not enter the gray, and the bezel is narrower.
Cons: High defective rate, so high cost.
